Edward and Alphonse Elric from Full Metal Alchemist. To this day one of my favorite anime series of all time, and I can't wait to check out the brotherhood remake.
Haven't done a cell shaded piece in a while, it was fun to visit my old style once again for this illustration. I have been thinking about creating this scene for some time, just the two brothers resting comfortably on a nice summer day in the field. It came pretty close to what I was envisioning. I almost wonder how it would have turned out if I used my more painterly style on the colors.
Hope you like it .

This artwork is based on one of my most favourite anime/mangas of all time, This artwork expresses adventure, brotherhood, and such other excellent elements, I love the lineart, lighting effects, and my damn look at the grass texture. Al actually looks like Al. I also cherish the detail you put into edwards`s arm. and the shine on Als arm is just amazing. The bark on the tree is very attractive. the effects are just eye catching. The cloth effects are so realistic looking. you just made me love full metal alchemist even more, and besides, keep up the good work
Wow! This is ever impresive! Not only is it one of my most favorite mangas / Animes of all time, but this picture makes it seem a little bit more realistic... I like how you made Al more shiny... As well as Edward's arm! Making them look metallic. I also like the tree that was used to seperate them! Also one more thing. The grass fits seeingly, if not almost perfect. Wow this is definately something That I would put in my favorites, without no doubt. Man I just don't know how this was even possible! Keep up the epic work!
FMA is still my favourite manga. I agree with the other two critiques, but would like to add that the dandelion fluff is a lovely way of uniting the two figures, and adding extra highlights to the picture.
