Duo Lon from the King of Fighters series.
The Goofy foot assassin finally makes his REDUX debut For those of you who have never played Duo Lon or know little about him, for some odd reason the good people over at SNK decided to give this character one of weirdest fighting stances in fighting games. At first glance he looks like he would kick your ass in a heartbeat, and then you notice something odd. His front foot looks damn near broken at the ankle joint. It's REALLY awkward looking as anyone who has seen him in action can attest to, but hey I guess SNK wanted to do something different, and they ran with it. So on to the REDUX, I have been playing a decent amount of Street Fighter 4 recently and the one thing I have noticed while using Gen (my new main) is that Gen and Duo Lon feel very similar in style. Granted there is a huge age discrepancy but if you watch them fight and their overall posture and demeanor it almost feels like Duo Lon is a younger version of Gen. So with that in mind I wanted to change his outfit to that of a true Chinese martial artist . Keeping the same color scheme as well as the overall feel of Chinese fighting attire I tried to maintain the feeling that this is a dark persona who you definitely don't want to run into in a dark alley way. And I left out his goofy foot in this pic, so take that SNK! -DN See the rest of my KOF REDUX series: Shingo Yabuki Mai Shiranui Rock Howard Blue Mary K Vice Joe Higashi Kula Daimond Kyo Kusanagi Whip Geese Howard King Sie Kensou Leona Heidern Ryuji Yamazaki Yuri Sakazaki Ryo Sakazaki Vanessa Oswald Mature Ralf Angel Iori Athena K9999 Elisabeth Andy Nagase Ash Kasumi Benimaru Lien Neville Terry Bogard Bonne Jenet Billy Kane Orochi Alba Meira Heavy D Shermie Wolfgang Krauser Foxy Comments |

The lighting effects on him are rather well done, same goes with the patterns. However, if you get a chance, try to tweak the face a bit. I realize that Duo Lon is naturally pale, but unfortunately, his face looks a tad flat to me. I could be wrong and viewing it incorrectly, but that's what I see. I also have to commend you on changing up his character color palate. It's good to see him in different colors.
